The IdeaLists seeks a community manager with a passion for building and nurturing our quickly growing creative community.
As the public liasion of The IdeaLists, the CM oversees the brand's voice via social media, newsletters and semi-regular events. This requires an understanding of social media and a desire to build awareness within specific creative communities. We’re a curious-minded office, and always ready to try non-traditional marketing initiatives, experimentation and collaboration with our community.
The CM also helps curate our member community of top-notch communication professionals. This role necessitates an innate understanding of good work and professionalism. A constant curiosity for who’s making beautiful, clever or technologically awesome work means the CM has a fat bookmark list, and will meet many a creative person. A personal network or involvement in creative industries is ideal; a grasp on where and how to tastefully market to new members is a must.
Finally, the community manager should possess on-point writing and organizational skills coupled with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. It's an opportunity to meet industry leaders, take part in a quickly-growing, game-changing company and enjoy a poolside workspace from our offices in sunny Los Angeles (but if that's not your thing, we are open to the CM working remotely).
Compensation is competitive, based on experience.
